What this site is

aigearwatch.com is a static website. Every page is built ahead of time and served as a file. There is no backend, no database, and no user accounts, so there is nothing here to log you into and no profile to store.

What we collect

We do not ask you for a name, an email address, or anything else. There is no signup, no newsletter, and no comment form. Nothing you do on this site is stored against an identity, because we do not have one for you.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records ordinary server request data as part of serving the site. That is the normal operation of a web server and is governed by their policies rather than ours.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Comparison selections are carried in the page URL rather than in storage, which is why a comparison link can be shared and will show the other person the same thing it showed you.

What happens when you click an affiliate link

Some outbound links to Amazon and eBay carry a tracking parameter that identifies this site as the referrer. When you follow one, the retailer knows you arrived from here, and if you buy something they may pay us a commission. From that point you are on their site and their privacy policy applies, not ours.

We do not receive your name, your address, or your payment details from any of this. What we see is aggregate: that a purchase happened. We cannot tell which visitor made it.

Third parties

Outbound links to vendor documentation, retailer listings, and community forums are ordinary links. Following one takes you to a site we do not control and whose data practices are its own.

Changes

If this policy changes, the change will appear on this page. There is no mailing list to notify, by design.
